Until the Pastor’s Search Team once again begins its search for a new pastor, Elder Steve Faccio will serve as Interim Pastor. If there are any questions, please contact the Church for further information.
Due to certain unavoidable circumstances with members of the Pastor’s Search Team, the search for a new pastor is on hiatus until further notice.
The Pastor’s Search Team has reviewed and changed their meeting dates and times. They will now meet the first and third Tuesdays at 5:00 PM.
At their last meeting, the Pastor’s Search Team voted to name Elder Steve Faccio, as Interim Pastor, and Elder Albert Koester, as Interim Associate Pastor. They will serve until a number of important issues can be worked out and a new pastor chosen. If you have any questions, please contact Deacon Darby Webster at 512/658-8495.
The Pastor’s Search Team met after Morning Services on February 27. Numerous church in-house surveys on what members/attendees expect of a Pastor were compiled, quickly discussed, and then sent home with members of the Pastor’s Search Team for further review.
After a lengthly hiatus, the Pastor’s Search Team met on February 13. It was a productive meeting with selection of meeting dates/times and revisiting the important aspects needed in the upcoming search for a new pastor. Please check the calendar for meeting dates/times. Also, after every meeting, a short synopsis will be posted here, if deemed necessary by the Chair of the Pastor’s Search Team.
Due to the holidays, and other unavoidable occurrences, The Pastor’s Search Team will be on hiatus until February 2022.
On Sunday, September 12, The Pastor’s Search Team held it’s first meeting. Pertinent materials and information was distributed to team members to review for discussion at their next meeting.
On Sunday, August 29, it was announced the Pastor’s Search Team had been chosen. Please pray for this team as they begin the mission of searching for a Pastor.
